Dive RAID - Underwater Digital Photography

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and the rise of digital underwater photography has made it easier and more fun than ever. This is why there are actually two RAID underwater photography courses. The RAID Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly with today modern digital equipment, whether you use a point-and-shoot snap camera or a sophisticated D-SLR like the pros. The RAID Underwater Photographer course is a more traditional photography course designed for conventional film equipment.
The Digital Underwater Photographer Speciality Course Program can be learned in the pool/confined water or directly in the open water. This makes this a perfect "winter specialty" which can be done just before your diving holiday

Introduction
This course will help you to take better photographs through a better understanding of the basics of photography and specifically of underwater photography. You will learn about composition and will understand the basics of a digital darkroom - thus you will see an immediate and dramatic improvement in the quality of your photos.

Prerequisite
Any certified diver (over the age of 10) may take this course which is written for digital cameras and divided into theory with quiz and exam; practical with confined and open water dives.

Duration
The course is normally run over 1 evening depending on the class aptitude and 1 weekend if chosen. And option for confine water or open water dives can be added at an additional cost.
